Lake Siskiyou Trout action has been red hot

It does not get much better than the past 3 days on Lake Siskiyou. As I have stated many times in the past this little lake has scenery like no other and it is in full bloom now. The weather has been nearly perfect with cool mornings and warm afternoons but not hot. Lastly, the fishing has been absolutely on fire.

When I say on fire, I am not joking, the action the past 3 days was insane, all my clients had 40 to 50 fish days. Now of course we did not keep that many. A limit is 5 person if you choose to keep. 

Spoons and plugs were were hot for me and we caught all the fish from the surface to 30 feet. Browns and Rainbows in 1 to 3 pound made up the majority of our catch.

Shasta Lake has also been fishing good as well. Now is the time while the weather is comfortable and before school lets out for the summer.
