New Year same old Lake Siskiyou

Mother Nature finally calmed down. It was a pretty rainy Christmas and New Years and a lot of flooding occurred. Fortunately, Lake Siskiyou just got a lot of cold water and did not muddy up. Friday I was able to get my clients Bill and Cassandra out for some birthday fishing. It was Cassandras' birthday and Lake Siskiyou did not disappoint.

Cassandra caught her biggest trout ever and was treated with fabulous winter weather fishing day. The bite was steady but required and lot of gear changes to keep it going. Plugs, spoons, dodger an worm all caught fish but nothing was hot, but by the end of the day we caught over a dozen nice Brown an Rainbow Trout.
