Shasta, Siskiyou, Trout, Whiskeytown fishing

Lake Siskiyou is provided the most consistent fishing right now for my clients. Browns, Rainbows, and even some smallmouth Bass have been on the bite.

Shasta Lake was slow last week for Trout. The Lake has a lot flow coming into it and the floating debris is a problem all over the Lake. Fish can be caught and it will get better as everything settles.

Trout Lake opened this weekend and the Trout was good despite the boat traffic. Bass action as slow and they not in any pre spawn mode yet. That can an will all change as the weather warms.

As the weather warms up fishing on Whiskeytown for kokanee will begin tonget better. Fish are scattered and not bting consistently yet

I am booking trip for all the above mentioned lakes as well as McCloud Reservoir. Give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com and let's put a spring summer fall trip or 3 together.
