Steelhead fishing on the Klamath remains a fantastic choice as we fish our way into March.

My clients this past week had steady action with many fish in the 2 to 8 pound  range. Bobber/Indicator and plug fishing were the two best methods for lots of hook ups. These Steelhead are in various stages of spawn mode. We are seeing fresh hens full of eggs everyday as well as some spawned put fish. These aggressive Steely are blast and fight hard. The weather is all over the place right now. We have had 28 to 65 degree temperatures with clouds, rain, snow an sun. Typical for this time of year.
