Klamath River Fish Report for 11-3-2011

Conner and I got in a little late morning early afternoon fishing on Tuesday and the bite was very good, despite the huge weather change. The temperatures in the mornings have been 32 and below the last few days but that has not stopped the Steelhead and Trout from biting. As I write this today, Weed and Mt. Shasta experienced some of the first snow of Winter. It was just cold here in Montague. Conner landed a nice 21 inch Hatchery Buck Steelhead, which became his dinner later that evening (BBQ Lemon Steelhead). He landed that particular Steely while backtrolling a nightcrawler behind a Luhr Jensen jet diver, we also caught other smaller steelies and trout while fly fishing glowbug under an indicator and backtrolling small hotshots.
