Klamath River Fish Report for 9-28-2011

It was a great day on the upper Klamath river. My friend Monique Dixon of Yreka landed 8 out of 13 Salmon today, all the fish were males and in the 24 to 30 inch class. We have seen quite a few Salmon move into the upper stretches of the river over the last few day making the bite much better today. We hooked all of today's Salmon by bouncing roe or running roe behind a Luhr Jenson Jet diver. The weather is fantastic with sunny cool mornings but warming to low the 80's by the afternoon.
