McCloud Reservoir Fish Report for 4-25-2006

It looks as though spring has finally arrived!!!! I for one am glad to see the Sun and warmer weather!! Although the Klamath River is not fishable at this time (due to high flows 4720cfs-----2000cfs is fishable), McCloud Reservoir is the best choice for some good Trout action. Easy limits can be had at this time. It may be June by the time Medicine Lake is open for fishing, due to all the snow this year. When it does there will be some hungry brook and rainbow trout.  If you want to be one of the first to fish Eagle Lake it will be open for fishing on May 27. I am taking reservations if you want a chance at catching some big Eagle Lake Trout. I am also taking reservation for annual Salmon fly hatch on the Klamath River, should happen in late May. Call 530 905 0758 to book a trip.
