Bows Browns and wind Shasta Lake

Pretty cool high school graduation present (way to go Dad) a weekend fishing trip. Then landing your first Brown Trout and your biggest Rainbow Trout, gotta love Shasta Lake

There are hungry Trout waiting to be caught at Shasta. Yesterday started out pretty good with a nice fat little Brown and some Rainbow action. Them the wind began to ramp up. Boy did it blow by noon it was white caps.

The wind knocked the bite down but we landed the biggest fish on the day a hard fighting 24 inch bow. Gotta love drag ripped fish in the wind tangling all the lines up lol. That's fishing.
