Northern California has many gorgeous rivers and lakes to enjoy: The Klamath River, the Wild and Scenic Smith River, Trinity River, as well as, McCloud, Medicine, Shasta, Siskiyou lakes just to name a few. Bass, salmon, steelhead and trout are a few of the many different species of fish that can be caught.

Fall Salmon Season - August thru October
Spring Salmon - lower river April and May
Winter Steelhead - upper river November and December
Steelhead - lower river - August and September
Trout - year round
Lake Siskiyou
Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout - Year Round
*During the winter months snow may cause access problems
Small Mouth Bass - Summer Months
McCloud Reservoir
Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout - Year Round
*During the winter months snow may cause access problems
Medicine Lake
Brook and Rainbow Trout - May to November
*Medicine Lake becomes inaccessible during the winter due to snow
