SC Guide Service - Drift and Jetboat Fishing Trips
Come and enjoy a day of fishing, I (Scott Caldwell guide and owner) provide the food, gear and tackle. All you need is a fishing license. I also offer Fly Fishing Trips and casting instruction. No experience is required and all ages are welcome. Bass, Salmon, Steelhead, and Trout can be caught while fishing at one of following:
Eagle Lake, Klamath River, Lake Siskiyou, Medicine Lake, McCloud Reservoir, Smith River
Eagle Lake-Opening Day is Saturday May 26th Memorial Day Weekend, checkout Eaglelake.net or Myoutdoorbuddy.com for lake levels and ramp conditions, Spaulding launch may not be available on Opening day
Klamath River-We should be expecting the Annual Salmonfly hatch later this month, the river is currently flowing at 3500csf out of Irongate Dam, that is pretty high, we fish at 1000 to 1500csf most of the year
Lake Siskiyou- Bait, Flies or Trolling should bring easy limits, now is the time to fish the lake, the schools will be out soon for the Summer and the Camping will season begin
McCloud Reservoir-Time to go fishing!!
Medicine Lake- Check for snow conditions before trying to drive to Medicine Lake, snow drifts across the shady corners will make the road impassable if they exist
GUIDED TRIPS ***The annual Salmonfly hatch on KLAMATH RIVER will be starting later this month or the first part of June as the weather warms and the river flow comes into shape. Take advantage of Lake Siskiyou or McCloud Reservoir throughout the spring and summer, excellent Trout fishing is available practicall year round. Checkout my calendar page for available fishing days or give me a call***
